With God Nothing is Impossible

This week we have been studying Mary, the mother of God in our GAP study.  An angel came to Mary and told her she would have a son without a man.  What would you think?  Impossible!  Mary could not fathom how having the Son of God would be possible.   But I have learned that NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING is impossible with the Lord.

Here are some verses about the endless possibilities of our Lord:

NOTHING is impossible.   We can read our Bibles and sort of believe it.  We can sit in church and hear a sermon and believe it.  But one day life strikes and a major upset comes, a major valley we are thrown in and it is there in those times, that we see we either believe it or we do not.  Are those things in life bigger than your God?  A sickness, financial problems and all sorts of things that the devil tosses at us. It is there in the valleys that our lives focus on Jesus or they do not.

As I studied this verse this week I thought about all the things that God has done in my life that to some would seem impossible:

NOTHING, NOTHING is Impossible with God!

He saved me!

NOTHING, NOTHING is impossible with God!

He gave me two children when the doctor’s said it was less than a 2% chance – impossible!  Impossible to the doctors, but with God all things are possible.

NOTHING, NOTHING is impossible with God!

Our premature daughter born nine weeks early and two pounds six ounces was not supposed to live, and if she did she was going to be sickly and have problems in school.  Valedictorian and Sigma Cum Laude and a Master’s Degree.

NOTHING, NOTHING is impossible with God!

My mom was not supposed to live through months in the hospital with sepsis and a bad infection in her leg.  God healed her and let us spend three more years with her.

NOTHING, NOTHING is impossible with God!

Our grandson was born with a very rare skin disease and was to spend two months in the hospital.  Less than two weeks and he was home.

NOTHING, NOTHING is impossible with God!

Our grandson was supposed to break out in horrible sores within a couple of days of his birth.  He did not.

NOTHING, NOTHING is impossible with God!

On an internet page it says Your baby may be able to kick himself over, from his tummy to his back, as early as age 4 months. It may take him until he’s about 5 or 6 months to flip from back to front, though, because he needs stronger neck and arm muscles for that maneuver.  My son rolled over at 3 months.  Colt rolled over repeatedly at 4 weeks.

NOTHING, NOTHING is impossible with God—NOTHING!!!  As I read through all I wrote above, I was amazed at all that God has done in my life with so many impossibilities.  Our God is in the miracle business, and I am so thankful that when we feel like we are at the end of our rope, that we can rely on Him because

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
