“And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding.” Daniel 2:21 KJV
Seasons change. We change.
I love living in Texas where we do have seasons, and I love the fact that we don’t have a lot of winter, most years. It’s summer now and in the hundreds – but this year so far an unusual summer of only 13 days to date over 100. I’ll take sunshine any day over those drab, freezing cold, icy road type days, but I love fall.
Our lives are just like the seasons:
,seasons of spring rain, butterflies, tears and new birth,
Seasons are ever changing and in God’s hands. Some seasons sad, some seasons happy. The seasons come and go and even they change – some years there is more heat, some more snow, some more rain, some more heat. We are in a drought right now in Texas and waiting for a new season that will fill up the lakes and lift the bans on watering.
God is in control of the seasons of our lives just like He is in control of the seasons. We change, He does not.
Malachi 3:6 – “I the Lord, do not change…”
