Proverbs 1125

S: Scripture

Proverbs 11:25 The message

“The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped. ”

O: Observation:

Those who bless others will also be blessed abundantly.

A:  Application

Bless others and I will be blessed.  Helping others and I will be helped.   Who can I bless today in my words, my actions, a Facebook post, an email, a telephone call, offering a hand for a chore or to pick up something in town, donating something that is causing clutter that another can use?  It is a win-win is it not?  We can’t out give our Father.

K: Kneeling in Prayer

Thank You Father for the joy You give when I bless others.  Thank You for your generosity.  Help me find seek out and know those I need to bless.  Amen!

Good word today! We can’t outgive God, can we!

My pastor used to regularly say, “Give to others what you need.” Think that is a little of what you are saying today!

I came over on Turn it up Tuesday, and I’m glad to read your post~

It is so lovely that we are blessed by blessing others. God does not need to reward us for our efforts but He does it anyway!

This is a Biblical truth that will always come to pass when we are faithful to give. I’ve seen it happen in our family time and time again. My son is learning this now in his life.

Thanks for sharing. Our family’s current verse of focus is Proverbs 11:17, “A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man harms himself.” Your verse seems like it’s in the same vein. What an encouragement!
