#write31days – DAY 29 – AUTUMN LEAVES

29 Oct

Blog - Fall tree

I love all the trees this time of year, and yes, I love leaves except for those that blow in the pool.

I really want to take a Fall trip to look at trees, but you know here in Texas we have to wait until November so those pictures are not going to make it for the 31 day posts.  BOO!

Some leaf quotes:

“It looked like the world was covered in a cobbler crust of brown sugar and cinnamon.”  Sarah Addison Allen First Frost
“The leaves lay like hands upon the ground. When the wind rustles them, they applaud softly”.
Laura E. Stevens

Cute idea to share quotes about Autumn leaves since you don’t have pictures yet of your own experience with Fall colors.

I loved the one about “cobbler crust and brown sugar”. 🙂

Thanks Karen. The red tree is in my yard and those leaves also. Everything is starting to turn.

Leaves are falling pretty heavily here, even though we’re still having warm temps. I guess nature knows what to do, no matter what! Enjoyed your images and post.

Thanks Stephanie. It is finally turning cooler here. Not ready for cool but it’s starting downward in the 40s tonight. Brrrrr.

I always think summer is my favorite, and then the leaves change. So pretty! I’m glad you linked up at #ThreeWordWednesday.
