HOW DEEP IS HIS LOVE

3 Mar

declare 7

Remember these words, “The longer I serve Him the sweeter He grows”.  How many times have I sung that song and not realized how true that is and how deep His love is for me.  I fall more in love with Him every single day.

I love Ephesians 3:18.  If we are having a bad day, what a verse to have memorized.  Do you grasp how deep His love is.  Do you grasp how long and high it is?

I get up and throw open the blinds, and watch a beautiful sunshine like this morning.   It is so big and so beautiful. He wows us with sunsets that He colors differently each day, but we miss them.   I pulled in the driveway on Monday and saw my daffodils blooming.  I don’t want to miss Him because He’s there every moment if I just SLOW down.  Look for Him today in your home – clothes that need washing or mending, dishes from your morning breakfast, groceries in the pantry, running water, children running and laughing, the birds outside singing.

Take a moment to open your Bible or write in your journal this morning.  He’ll most certainly speak to you. Listen to some Christian music today and you’ll find Him.  Read a devotion and there He is most likely speaking a Word you really need today and spoken only for you. No matter how we are struggling.  No matter how much we have sinned.  No matter how far we have strayed He is always there.

Take a moment to search for Him today. Yesterday is gone.  We have TODAY.  We have this moment.  Savor it right now.  Stop, look, listen! Plant some deep things of God in your heart today because You are loved by Him.

Note:  I took these pictures at a Declare Conference last year in Dallas.  The theme was going deeper as we blog for an audience of one.

Stop and slow down and see Him in the everyday, even the laundry. Thank you for this. And for the prompting to journal out to Him today. It’s been on my heart do so!

Yes He is Kim. Even in those jumping on the bed moments. I laugh thinking about it and my grandsons when we are trying to change diapers and they are waiting impatiently to jump.

If we seek Him, He will be found by us. He makes it easy to find Him. He desires us so much.

Love that Debbie. He does make it easy. We just are too busy hurrying and scurrying that we miss Him.
