I love Fall, and I love the darkness in the morning studying. I love this verse, and as I read it today I did give thanks for our adult children, their spouses, and our five grandchildren. Look at those two boys – cousins as we visited the Dallas Arboretum recently.
I love Fall decorating almost as much as I do Christmas decorating. It’s fun seeing the grandkids walk in and saying, “Nana’s got pumpkins”.
This year we have been to see pumpkins at two places – the Dallas Arboretum and Shady Oaks Pumpkin Patch. We went to Six Flags and our church carnival. This was all in three weeks. My husband told me I should have enough of pumpkins this year. Honestly, I love them and there are ceramic ones all over the house, and real ones outside with mums.
Pumpkins these days come in all shapes and sizes.
Just look at that pictures and the wonders of those boys and all those different pumpkins as different as you and I!
Pumpkins are no longer just orange. Just look at all these we saw. They come in so many colors – white, browns, greens, hints of yellow, orange:
Pumpkins are smooth. They are bumpy and warty. The are all sorts of things. In the picture below the white bumpy ones (light orange) are called peanut pumpkins, and the orange ones behind are called knucklehead pumpkins.
So many different kinds of pumpkins. So much fun seeing them.
His mercies are new every day. His grace abounds.
